Research on Public Libraries' Services in America for Children of Incarcerated Parents Group

美国公共图书馆为父母服刑儿童群体的服务,无论是在理论研究还是实践开展方面都较为完善,其内容包含制定法规政策与服务指南、提供有针对性的各类型资源、开展特色化的服务项目。我国公共图书馆应借鉴其经验,在开展父母服刑儿童群体服务时应加强相关立法,构建完善的制度保障体系;细分特殊群体,提供有针对性的服务;开展多方协作,加强社会合作与交流。

Public libraries in America serve for children of incarcerated parents perfectly in research and practice. The services include formulating policy and regulation, providing targeted resources, carrying out characteristic projects. Public libraries in China should draw lessons from its experience in strengthening relevant legislation, improving security system, subdividing special groups and providing targeted service, carrying out multilateral cooperation, strengthening social cooperation and exchanges when serving for children of incarcerated parents.
