The ownership of independent intellectual property in scientific research and production project of weaponry equipment indicates the innovation capability and sustainable development capacity of military defense scientific research and production establishment. Strengthening the management of intellectual property appears to be particularly important and urgent, which contributes to the prompt formation of intellectual property of achievements in scientific research project and attain legal protection, and better serves the construction of national defense science and technology industry. This article reviews the characteristics and the content of intellectual property management of military defense project, which also provides some correlative suggestions.
