Undergraduate tutorial system is a new training mode to meet the needs of students＇ personality development and innovative spirit. It plays an active role in the development of students＇ potential, the cultivation of innovative talents, the development and the promotion of teaching and scientific research. The paper discusses necessity and the implementation of the status quo of undergraduate tutorial system. In addition, it discusses problems in the implementation of tutor system and proposes the countermeasures to provide a reference of the implementation of tutor system in China.
