Imidazoline and its derivatives was an efficient corrosion inhibitor for CO2 and H2S. The paper summarized the research progress of the imidazoline inhibitors and introduced its preparation methods, inhibiting principles and the influence factors in the process of synthesis. At last it discussed the development prospect of imidazolinc inhibitors.
