To implement the whole strategy of the Guangzhou International Shipping Center, the construction of hardware is the base, and the construction of software environment like the establishment of shipping culture system is the key to it. The paper attempts to preliminarily study the status quo of the inheritance and promotion of Guangzhou maritime culture by field investigation and systematizing local maritime resources and put forward related suggestions,which will be beneficial to the construction of software environment.
