A Study of Coupling Design Based on Combinating Sustainable Applications of Furniture and Packaging

基于现代产品包装多被定义为易耗物,被大量用后即弃造成严重资源浪费的现状,探索性地提出一种耦合设计思路来解决这一问题。对现有工业产品设计中的产品包装设计固有程序和方法提出反思,推动产品包装设计与其他门类设计高度协同。通过对家具与产品包装相融合设计的耦合性研究,探讨二者协同创新的理论基础、设计思路和方法,从而探索出多种设计策略,实现集成家具与包装功能可相互转化或借鉴,使之成为多功能产品。

Based on the facts that packaging of modern product is defined as consumable materials and serious source waste happens on scrap after plenty of using, this thesis tried to bring up a coupling study to solve this issue. Reflecting the inherent procedure and methodology of packaging design for current modern industrial products in order to promote highly integration of packaging design and other design in different categories. Via coupling study of integrated design for furniture and packaging, discussing creative theory base, design idea and design method for their coordination, this paper found out various design strategies, in order to achieve mutual conversion and transfer between integrated furniture and packaging function to make them as multi-purpose products.
