读后续写对二语词汇学习的作用研究 被引量:138

Effects of the continuation task on L2 vocabulary learning

摘要 本研究将读后续写引入词汇学习领域,具体解决两个问题:1)读后续写能否促进二语词汇学习?2)读后续写的促学效果与其他练习(如概要写作)相比是否存在显著差异?实验采用假词为目标词,从词形、词义和用法三个维度考察受试的学习情况。结果显示,读后续写能有效促进二语词汇学习,特别是在词义和用法方面,效果明显好于概要写作。本研究认为,读后续写将输入与输出紧密结合,能促使学习者模仿阅读材料中的词语句型来表达自己创造的内容,新词汇一经学习者主动用过,记忆即可加深,学得会更扎实有效(王初明2014)。 This study examines the effectiveness of the continuation task on L2 vocabulary learning. Two groups were formed: a continuation group and a summary group. Both were required to read and complete a relevant writing task by using 12 given words(8 target words and 4 distracters). To examine the effects of the tasks, a filling- in test and the Vocabulary Knowledge Scale were distributed immediately after the task and one week later to measure participants' gains of the target words in form, meaning and use. It was found that both tasks could facilitate L2 vocabulary learning,with the continuation task outperforming the summary task, especially in terms of meaning and use.
