中国大学如何从传统英语教学向双语教学过渡

摘要 本文针对当前我国高校英语教学存在的问题,关于如何从传统英语学习过渡到学科内容教学,探索出一条完善的途径,以实现全国范围内的双语教学。作者对双语教学的教材编写、双语专业人才培养、课程设计等方面进行了分析,并提出了相应的对策建议,来解决我国高校英语教学与内容教学之间的过渡问题。本文首先简要介绍当今英语学习趋势是实施双语教育,即对学科内容的英语教学,而不是传统的英语教学。在下面的部分讨论了这个过渡期暴露的问题。最后,笔者对这些问题提出了一些建议和解决方案。 This paper is based on the problems of the present English teaching in Chinese colleges,and tries to explore a perfect way that convert from general English learning to content-area instruction,and achieve the bilingual teaching in the universities in national wide.The author throw the light on textbookscompilation,bilingual professionals cultivation,course design and provide the solutions accordingly as suggestions on how to bridging the gap between English language and content-area instruction in Chinese Universities.The paper finds out that the new tendency is to implement bilingual education,that is,to give content-area instruction instead of general English language instruction.In the following part discuss the problems exposed in this transitional period.At last,the author will give some suggestions and solutions to the problems and discuss the importance of bridging the both areas.
