Tortuous Development of Globalization from the End of World War Ⅰ to the 1980s

第一次世界大战结束到20世纪80年代是全球化的曲折发展时期。这一时期,资本主义的世界经济体系受到严重挑战。两次世界大战的爆发及长期的东西方冷战不仅严重阻断了全球化的进程,而且使全球化发生某种倒退。但是,全球化作为一种世界潮流是无法阻挡的,因此这一时期的全球化仍然取得一定程度的发展,其突出表现在一些世界政治、经济组织的建立和跨国公司在国际舞台上的日益活跃。

Globalization experienced a period of tortuous development from the end of World War Ⅰ to the 1980 s. During this period,capitalist world economy suffered serious challenges. The outbreak of the two world wars and the long-term cold war between the east and the west not only severely disrupted the progress of globalization,but also made it go into reverse. Globalization,however,as a kind of world trend,is unstoppable,so it still achieved a certain degree of development during this time,which mainly reflects in the establishment of some world political and economic organizations and the increasing activeness of multinational companies in the international stage.
