这一阶段的图书馆事业,是在"调整、巩固、充实、提高"的总方针下开展的。进入1960年代后,图书馆界投入到了学习毛泽东著作的热潮中,同时为读者学习毛泽东著作提供良好的服务。继续大力开展为农村图书馆服务,通过技术革新和技术革命的"双革"运动,进一步提高了馆员在工作中的主观能动性。大力深入开展各项图书馆业务活动,提高了服务质量,进一步树立了"一切为了读者"的思想。通过基本功的讨论和竞赛,进一步提高了业务学习的自觉性,同时较大程度地提高了业务技能。在新的历史条件下,大力培养在职干部,大力开展理论研究活动,提升理论研究的层面。在大力开展社会主义教育运动的进程中,步入了文化大革命运动阶段。参考文献78。

At this stage, Chinese librarianship developed by the general policy of adjustment, consolidation, filling out gaps and rai- sing standards. Since 1960s, library not only itself paid more attention to diving into the wave of learning the works of Mao zedong, but also in the meantime provided good service for readers to learn the works of Mao zedong. Serving for the rural library was vigorously car- ried out continuously and the librarians＇subjective initiative in the work was further improved through the movement of technological in- novation and technological revolution. The library activities were vigorously carried out which improved the quality of service and further established the idea of ＂all for the readers＂. Librarians＂ self-consciousness on vocational study was further improved by discussing the basic skills and competitions while their vocational skills were greatly improved. In the new historical conditions, the library vigorously cultivated in-service cadres, vigorously carried out theoretical research activities and improved the level of theoretical research.
