Relic Records and Image Resources in Literature : The Breakthrough in Fine Art Study

美术学与同属于艺术学门类下的二级学科——艺术史论之间的关系问题一直是学界争论的焦点,为明晰两者之间的关系,则必须明确其各自的研究内容与范围。该研究从文献研究的角度出发,将美术学的研究内容划分为美术文献与美术实迹两个方面,在梳理美术学发展脉络的基础上,揭示其文献资源在发展初期的基本态势,并将美术学文献资源中十分重要的"图像资源",即画报、画刊部分进行了整理,发挥图像资源的优势,以突破传统从书本到书本、从文献到文献的研究方法,进而为拓展美术学研究途径提供一定的借鉴。

From the view of discipline establishment,the relationship between Study of Fine Arts and History Theory of Art has always been the focus of academic debate. To distinguish the relationship between them,we define their respective research content and scope. From the perspective of literature research,we divide the research content of fine arts into two aspects： fine art literature and fine art relic records. On the basis of reviewing the development of fine arts,this paper analyzes the basic situation of the literature resources in the early stage of development. At the same time, we collate illustrated magazines and newspapers which are the important image resources in the literature materials. This form of resources takes advantage of the image study and breaks through the traditional research methods. There may be a point in expanding the fine art research way and providing reference for further fine art literature study.
