摘要
1999年发生在台湾的集集地震,是战后台湾遭受到的最严重自然灾害.集集地震后发生了大量余震.使用较新的方法重新研究这次地震的余震,对于研究该地区的应力状况具有比较重要的意义.本文尝试用较新的"裁剪-粘贴"法反演并分析余震的震源机制解.本研究共反演了168个地震的震源机制解,其中5级以上地震12个,6级以上7个.本研究发现余震的震中位置和震级具有很强的相关性、而余震的震源机制普遍以走滑分量为主而不是和主震以倾滑为主.
1999 Chi-Chi, Taiwan earthquake is the most serious natural disasters after the World War Ⅱ in Taiwan island. After Chi- Chi primary earthquake, many aftershocks happened. It is necessary to use some new method to study these aftershoeks' mechanism for more new information about stress status in Taiwan island. This article has tried to use newly Cut And Paste method to inverse the mechanisms of these aftershocks . 168 aftershocks has been inversed, including 12 aftershocks above magnitude 5 and 7 aftershocks above magnitude 6. We have found a strong relativity between epicenters and magnitude and that the most aftershocks ' mechanisms, mostly strike slips, are different with the principal earthquake' s, which is a dip slip.
