Guangdong Xinyu,composed by QU Da-Jun who lived in south China for unsettled period between Ming and Qing Dynasty,is not only an unprecedented encyclopedic work on names and descriptions of Guangdong's customs and things but also a work of strong poetic spirit and cultural sustenance.
