Wang Zuoliang and Yuan Kejia provide two major Chinese translations of Robert Burns'poems. This paper applies Xu Yuanchong's Three Beauties theory to discuss the differences between two translation versions and marks the better one. In the first part,it is the analysis from the aspect of beauty in shape. Wang Zuoliang's version is better in translation of repetition. In the second part, the beauty in shape is analyzed from the aspects of diction, tone and image. Yuan Kejia's diction is more loyal to the original text;however Wang Zuoliang's version is more idiomatic and free in its style. When it comes to the tone and image, Wang Zuoliang translates it correct and beautiful. In the third part, the beauty in sound is examined from the aspects of metre and rhyme scheme. Yuan Kejia's version is neat in metre and foot, and his rhyme scheme is perfect rendering of original pieces while Wang Zuoliang's version is less neat as Yuan's.
