春秋战国东代城地望蠡测

Comments on Dongdaicheng Diwang in the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Period

春秋战国至两汉时期,代作为地名使用的情况非常复杂,在不同时期、不同场合具有不同的含义,关于东代城即战国赵桓子代都地望问题,以往诸家多认为即今蔚县代王城遗址。郦道元《水经注》在记述今蔚县一带水道时,至少提及三座与代有关的旧城遗址,今代王城遗址只是其中的一座。《水经注》所涉及的东代城地望,表明北大坪、小枣堡、任家庄一带理应是东代城所在。

＂Dai＂ was very complicated when it was used as a geographical name from the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty. It differed in age and on occasion. Regarding Dongdaicheng, ie, Zhao Huanzi＇s Diwang in the Warring States, many scholars held that Daiwangcheng of present Yu County, Hebei Province, was just the relic. In the description of the water channel of present Yu County in the book Shui Jing Zhu by Li Daoyuan, at least three relics（including Daiwangcheng） are mentioned, and Beidaping, Xiaozaobao and Renjiazhuang should be located in Dongdaicheng.
