狂狷被明确赋予正面意义始自孔子,孟子又对此加以阐释,成为后世儒者推崇的狂狷精神。狂与狷虽然没有达到"中行"的境界,但都区别于乱德之乡愿,都具有"中行"的内在素质,体现了不同的人格之美。狷者精神在于知耻不为,坚守善道,洁身自好;狂者精神在于志向远大,勇于进取,光明磊落。弘扬狂狷精神有助于遏制败坏政治生态的好人主义,营造良好政治生态。

Radical and uprightness were praised since Confucius.After interpretation of Mencius,the spirit of radical and uprightness were praised highly by the later Confucian.To distinguish goody-goody who is the enemy of virtue,radical and uprightness embody the different beauty of personality.Shame-awareness not to do evil deeds,pledging to uphold a just cause,preserving one＇s moral integrity,are characteristics of uprightness;aspiration far-reaching,going ahead bravely,being open and straightforward,are characteristics of radicals.Advocating the spirit of radical and uprightness is help to construct a better political ecology.
