职业技能大赛与旅游英语专业建设

On the Vocational Skills Contest and the Tourism English Specialty Construction

职业教育工作坚持以服务为宗旨、以就业为导向的办学方针,大力推行工学结合的人才培养模式,注重学生的技能培养,而技能大赛是展示各职业院校职业技能培养水平的平台,同时也是各专业人才培养的一个标杆。通过对辽宁省英语导游服务大赛竞赛结果分析发现,高等职业院校专业存在人才培养目标不够明确、课程设置与行业需求不一致、教师的双师型教学能力有待提高、毕业生的综合能力较薄弱等诸多问题。因此,高等职业院校应该改革人才培养方案、课程体系,优化旅游英语专业建设。

Vocational education adheres to the policy of treating service as school-running purpose and employment as school-running direction,carries out the talents cultivation mode in which production practice is combined with book learning and stresses student skills development while a vocational skills contest is both a platform with which vocational colleges show their levels of developing student vocational skills and a pacesetter for talents cultivation.The analysis of the results of the Liaoning Province＇s English Guide Service Contest shows that problems exist in the specialty construction in vocational colleges, such as the target of talents cultivation failing to be clearly defined,curriculum provision disagreeing with sector demand, teachers＇ ability of teaching needing to be improved,graduates＇ comprehensive ability being poor, etc. Therefore, vocational colleges should reform their talents cultivation scheme and curriculum system and optimize the tourism English specialty construction.
