本文针对传统视频及音频接收具有时间限制和用户处于被动等不足之处,基于宽带多媒体技术建立搭建了一个VOD点播模型的软件平台,该模型以校园交互式多媒体视频点播为目标,以响应点播的实时性和数据传输的连续性为指导,充分利用了当前的先进多媒体技术,并经过半年时间的测试运行,反映情况良好,证实了系统的实用性。

This article is in view on the deficiency of the traditional video and audio receiving time limit and the user is in the passive and so on. A software platform of VOD on demand model is built, it is based on broadband multimedia technology. In this model, interactive multimedia video on demand as the goal, to the continuity of the response on demand for real-time and data transmission as a guide, makes full use of the current advanced multimedia technology. After six months test run, it reflects that the situation is good. The practicability of the system is proved.
