Effect of Geometrical Parameters of PCBN Cutting Tool on Tool Life in High Speed Dry Cutting of Hardened Bearing Steel

摘要 本文选取美国公司的BZN9000刀片为研究对象,在CA6140A车床上对GCr15淬硬轴承钢轴承环外套进行了一系列高速硬态干切削实验。采用正交试验设计方法,研究了PCBN刀具几何参数对其使用寿命的影响。结果表明:倒棱角度为-15°、刀尖圆弧半径为0.8 mm、后角度数为6°时,PCBN刀具的寿命最长,并得出刀具寿命影响程度大小的顺序依次为倒棱角度、刀尖圆弧半径和后角。 The BZN9000 insert from DI Company in USA was selected and the high speed dry cutting experiments were carried out on GCr15 hardened bearing steel by use of CA6140 A lathe. The effects of the geometrical parameters of the PCBN tool on the tool life were investigated through orthogonal experimental design. The results show that the PCBN tool life reaches the maximum when the chamfer angle is-15°, the corner radius is 0.8 mm and the rear angle is 6°. The main geometrical parameters that influencing the tool life are chamfer angle, corner radius and rear angle in order.
