The power information collection system is an important part of the construction of smart grid. With the background of the current useful electrical information collection system,the construction situation and existing problems of electric information acquisition system are analyzed. From the aspects of business development and technology,the development trend of the electric energy data acquisition system is studied. It focuses on concepts of master station system,network communication and intelligent acquisition terminal of a new alternative electric information acquisition system. It puts forward the future development direction of the electric energy data acquisition system and provides the reference for the construction and promotion of the electric energy data acquisition system.
