The article introduces a design of a multifunctional eyesight protector.The multifunction eyesight protectors in the present market are mostly supported by plastic framework. their functions are usually very simple,only including light intensity monitoring or distance monitoring.in contrast,our design based on 51 single-chip microcomputer is not only able to monitor both light intensity and distance but also have timing function.with strong control ability and high extension fl exibility,this multifunctional eyesight protector is highly practical because of it is low cost,it is also suitable fo r industrial mass production,and now it has bee n put into application.
