To Increase the Role of Megalopolis in Urbanization Process of China

人口向大城市流动是城市化早期和中期的基本规律。目前,我国处于城市化快速发展阶段,特大城市作为经济发展和产业转型的引领者,要在城市化进程中发挥更大作用。我国应适时调整城市化战略,放开对特大城市的人为限制,积极探索都市区和城市群建设的有效模式,有序推进以特大城市为核心的城市化进程。

The flow of the population to megaeity is the basic law during the early and middle stage of urbanization. At present, our country is in the stage of rapid development of urbanization, megaeity as the leader of economic development and industrial transformation should play a greater role in the urbanization process of China. Our country should adjust the strategy of urbanization, end the restriction of megaeity, and explore the effective develop model of urban areas and urban agglomeration, in order to promote the urbanization process.
