从信息经济学视觉看,治理民主相比西方选举式民主更强调选举之后的权力监督和治理绩效,强调通过各种透明类举措解决信息不对称问题。单纯的"西方选举式民主"不符合中国历史文化传统和发展阶段要求。"治理民主"和其所追求的"国家治理体系和治理能力现代化"能较好解决中国的问题。

Under the perspective of information economics, compared with the western electoral democracy, the governance democracy puts more emphasis on the power supervision and governance performance after the election, on solving the problem of information asymmetry through various transparency initiatives. Simple ＂Western election style democracy＂ does not meet China′s historical and cultural traditions and the requirements of development stage. ＂Governance democracy＂ and its pursuit of＂national governance system and governance capacity modernization＂ can better solve China′s problems.
