浅析《一桶白葡萄酒》与《三十六计》的文化暗合

The Cask of Amontillado published in 1846 is one of Poe＇s best short stories and it tells a tale of revenge. The protagonist, Montresor, is adept at scheming. The strategies he adopts show cultural coincidences with Thirty-six Strategies, a Chinese essay collection, which is illustrating stratagems used in war. This shows that there are great differences between Chinese and Western cultures, but at the same time, there are some common coincidences.
