Hypoxia is fundamental cause of syncope in physical examinations for freshmen

目的探索大学生体检采血晕针的根本原因。方法对近3年本单位新生入学体检不同地点采血结果进行统计分析。结果在空气流通好富氧的室外发生采血晕针的可能性明显低于空气流通状况差的四合院及拥挤的室内。结论缺氧是大学生体检采血晕针的根本成因。为此,应做好入学体检前的宣传教育,改善采血环境,筛选采血晕针高发人群,准备充分,全程护理,降低采血晕针发生率。

Objective To explore the fundamental cause of syncope in physical examinations for freshmen. Methods The results of blood sampling from different locations in the physical examinationsforfreshmen in the past 3 years were statistically analyzed. Results The possibility of syncope in the air circulation oxygen rich outdoorwas significantly lower than that in the courtyard and crowded room with poor air circulation. Conclusion Hypoxia is the fundamental cause of syncope in the physical examinations for freshmen. Therefore, the prevention measures should include： the health education to freshmen before the physical examination, improving blood collection environment, screening persons who are prone to syncope during blood sampling, full preparation, and whole-course nursing to reducethe syncope occurred rate.
