China launched in late 2013the Belt and Road Initiative.The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road run through the continents of Asia,Europe and Africa,connecting the vibrant East Asian economic circle at one end with the developed European economic circle at the other,encompassing countries with huge potential for economic development.Charles Onunaiju, Director of Center for China Studies in Nigeria, believes that the Belt and Road Initiative can act as a catalyst for fostering win-win cooperation and building a community of shared destiny.
