The pattern of crowdsourced translation is a new- type organization form of translation springing up with the development of the Internet and social networking technology. This paper focuses on the definition of crowdsourcing and its application to translation, explores the characteristics of crowd- sourced translation and the problems faced by it, and also puts forward the prospect of the influence of crowdsourced translation on the industrialized development of translation and the careers of translators and interpreters.
