基于DEA模型的湖北省星级饭店经营效率评估

On Operation Efficiency Evaluation of Star Hotels in Hubei Based on DEA Model

随着旅游业快速发展,星级饭店数量越来越多,星级饭店经营效率问题显得尤为重要。本文把湖北省星级饭店经营效率评估看作一个投入——产出系统,运用DEA模型,选取星级饭店数量、固定资产、从业人员数量为投入指标,营业收入、客房出租率为产出指标,对湖北星级饭店在2008——2014年这7年间的经营效率进行评估。结果发现:湖北省星级饭店整体经营效率不高,资源没有得到充分利用;影响饭店经营效率的因素主要有星级饭店结构比例失调、客房出租率不高以及从业人员数量过多。

With the rapid development of tourism, star-graded hotels are increasing in good numbers. So the evolution of their operation efficiency becomes a vital issue. Regarding the business of these hotels as an input-output system, the paper evaluates operation efficiency of the star hotels in Hubei during seven years＇ time from 2008 to2014 based on MEA model. In the study, indicators of input involve the number of the star grade hotels, their fixed assets, the number of the employees of these star hotels; output indicators, the operation revenue, hotel room occupancy rate. The results are as follow： the operation efficiency is not high of these star grade hotels and the resources have not been fully made use of; the main factors that reduce their operation efficiency are the unbalanced ratio structures of Hubei star hotels, low room occupancy rate and, the high number of employees.
