摘要
托福考试成为目前规模最大的国际性、标准化权威外语考试之一。托福考试的成功举办归因于全球最大的教育考试和研究机构ETS。作为教育考试中介机构,ETS的宗旨、人员结构、服务等方面对我国语言测试机构中介化改革具有重要启示。为加快我国语言测试社会化改革步伐,我国语言测试机构必须增强服务意识,合理组织人员结构,建立全球发展战略。
TOEFL is one of the largest, international and standardized authoritative tests of foreign languages at present. The success of TOEFL can be attributed to ETS, the largest educational test and research institution in the world. As an intermediary institution for educational tests, ETS contributes some important inspirations on its aim, personnel structure, services etc. to the reform of intermediary language testing institutions in China. Language testing institutions in China must reinforce the awareness of better services, improve the personnel structure and develop global strategies in order to speed up the socialized reform in language tests in China.
