要想知道梨子的滋味儿,最好亲口尝一尝。现在,我就置身在山东莱阳千亩万亩的梨园当中。眼前是梨,身后是梨,头顶上也是梨,仿佛真的闯入梨的海洋了。虽然我从小在农场的果园里长大,对秋日里枝果累累的景象再熟悉不过了,但此刻我还是被这丰收的农家喜讯给深深地鼓舞了。

The Laiyang Pear is naturally the pear growing in Laiyang.Nevertheless,regarding where the Laiyang Pear originated from or was transplanted from,there have been controversies.Disputes also exist about the name of the Laiyang Pear.For instance,some call it the Zhuang Pear,some the Ci Pear while others name it the Crooked Coarse Pear.As far as I can see,I would rather believe in what SHI Yingzhi,a famous writer and native of Huangxian County in Jiaodong.said about it.As he claimed,the Laiyang Pear is the Ci Pear,which means the pear can sound like porcelain when it falls on the ground.As the folks would cite the onomatopoeia,it should be right to call it the Ci Pear.Wherever the Laiyang Pear originated from and whatever it was named,the accountable literary documents show it has a cultivating history of over four centuries as a quality breed cultivated by the working people in the Jiaodong area with the expertise accumulated in years of laboring,which is undoubted.
