严重吸湿的火药,会使其点火困难,燃速减慢,从而导致膛压、初速降低,射程减少。若火药在高温、干燥的环境下贮存,则会使其中的水分含量减少,最终导致燃速加快,膛压、初速和射程的增大。卡尔·费休法适用于各种火药,而且测量效果较好,因此,用卡尔费休法测定火药中水分含量具有重要的现实意义。
Seriously hygroscopic powder will be difficult to be fired, the burning rate will be slow, the bore pressure and initial velocity will reduce, and the firing range will decrease. If the powder is stored in high temperature and dry environment, moisture content in the powder will be reduced, burning rate will speed up, initial velocity and range will increase finally. Karl Fischer's method is suitable for all kinds of powder, and it has better measurement results, so Karl Fischer's method has important practical significance to measure the moisture content in the powder.
