摘要
黑格尔在《精神现象学》中通过理论、实践以及理性与世界之关系三方面的考察发现近代理性深陷一种吊诡局面之中:近代理性由于坚守对于世界的审核权,便习惯于外在地到事物中寻找可理解的规律,习惯于以个体化的方式对待事物,于是它越是看似以开放的姿态在世界上开疆拓土,越是追求它心目中的真理,便越是远离事情本身,对真理的崇高追求往往堕落为相互欺骗的权力之争。那种无根的理性只能在事物那里看到能被理性接受的一面,而黑格尔认为理性的背后还有超出它自身的根据——作为整体格局的精神或意义世界。
Through the investigation of the relevant theory, praxis and the relationship between reason and the world, Hegel's Phe- nomenology of Spirit reveals that the early modern reason is trapped deeply in a paradox due to its tendency of searching for intelli- gible laws in things from outside and of individuating treatment of things, because the more it explores the world in a seemingly open gesture and aspires after truth, the more it would distance itself from truth. The sublime seeking for truth often degenerates into mutually - deceiving struggle for power. The rootless reason can only reveal the acceptable aspects for itself in things. But He- gel thinks that the reason has its own ground which transcends itself, namely the spirit or the world of meaning as a whole.
