从禅宗“三境界”看贝聿铭建筑创作

Observing Ieoh Ming Pei's Architecture Creations from Zen's “Three Ideological Levels”

禅宗思想是佛教在我国发展独特的产物。通过对惟信禅师提出的关于人生"三境界"这一见解的思考与解读,发现美籍华裔现代主义建筑大师贝聿铭的建筑创作汲取了禅宗"三境界"的思维和智慧。贝聿铭在建筑形体、建筑创作过程中充分体现禅宗思想,将禅宗思想融入到创作经验之中。

Zen ideology is a unique result of Buddhism developed in China. This paper attempts to ex- plore and discover the cogitation and the wisdom in Chinese American modem architect Ieoh Ming Pei＇s archi- tecture creations by interpreting Zen＇s ＂Three Ideological Levels＂ of Wei Xin, a Buddhist monk. Ieoh Ming Pei has fully reflected the Zen ideology in both the architecture forms and his architecture creations, and inte- grated the Zen ideology into his creation experiences.
