十八大以来习近平同志就选人用人发表重要讲话，既继承了我们党历史上沿袭下来的选人用人宝贵经验、传统做法，又结合新形势、新任务、新情况、新问题，提出了许多选人用人的新理念、新思想、新方法。尤其是习近平同志坚持运用辩证唯物主义的观点探索、认识、把握选人用人的客观规律，坚持运用唯物辩证法原理提炼、总结、创新选人用人方法，由此形成新时期独具中国特色的选人之道、用人之策。

Comrade Xi Jinping made an important speech on official selection and appointment in the Eigh- teenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the thoughts not only inherits the valuable experience and traditional practices of inherited history of our party in selecting and appointing officials, but puts forward many new ideas and new methods of selection and appointment combined with the new situation, new tasks, new situations and new problems, especially Comrade Xi Jinping adheres to the dialectical materialist point of view to explore, un- derstand and grasp the objective laws of selection and appointment, insists on the dialectical materialism principle summarizing innovation of personnel selection method, and thus the unique characteristics of official selection and appointment is formed.
