宋初文士潘阆兼有儒士、隐士、游士的三重身份,逍遥不羁为其表,功名追逐为其里,构成了标新立异、热闹非凡的一生。他富有随缘自适的江湖气质,诗歌创作题材广泛,在与各类人物酬唱、寄赠诗作中,流露出丰富复杂的情意内涵。虽然他诗学贾岛,崇尚苦吟,但是逍遥不羁的心性却诱导其诗呈现出自然放达的风貌。他提倡文学创新、诗词一体,对推尊词体影响深远,组词《酒泉子》具有重要的艺术价值和词史意义。

Pan Lang,a famous poet in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty,can be regarded as a combination of a Confucian scholar,a hermit and a travelling strategist. Looking free and unfettered,he was actually eager for fame and success at the bottom of his heart,which made him a maverick and storied life. Due to his unconstrained disposition,he wrote poems on a wide range of topics and themes and interacted with his fellow poets through poems,which display profound implications. Though Pan followed Jia Dao who was known for his relentless pursuit of effective diction when writing poems,his poems show a style of unchecked passion. He advocated literary innovation which had a far-reaching influence on the ci poetry. His series of ci poems,entitled Jiuquan zi（《酒泉子》）,have important artistic value and literary significance in the history of ci poetry.
