Discussion on the Perfect Combination of Medical Humanities and Medical Technology

医学技术与人文的分离是现代医学的悲哀,医学技术认为只有技术才能征服自然和改造自然,创造价值,是一种真正"会下蛋的鸡"。医学人文认为"只能生蛋不能孵小鸡的鸡不是一只优质鸡",医学技术可持续发展永远离不开医学人文这只"不下蛋的鸡"。医学人文与医学技术不是对立的,科学人文观以科学技术为基础,同时肯定人文精神的价值,强调以正确的人文价值观为主导,促进现代技术的发展,倡导技术与人文协调共进,只有以科学人文价值观指导科学技术发展,才能克服技术与人文的分裂状态。

The separation of technology and humanity characterizes the modern medicine.The technicism believes that only technology can conquer and change nature and create value,which is a real ＂eggs laying hen＂.However,humanism believes that ＂hen only laying eggs but not hatching chicks is not a high quality hen＂.Sustainable development of medical technology cannot work without the medical humanity as a no eggs laying rooster.Humanity and technology are not contradicted with each other.The scientific humanistic view is based on science and technology,which also affirms the value of humanistic spirit.The author claimed that we should promote the development of modern technology with the correct conception of the humanity,as well as improving the integration of technology and humanity.Only under the guidance of scientific humanistic values,can it overcome the split between technology and humanity.
