Brief discussion on liver governs reproduction

众所周知,肾主生殖,然而研究表明,肝与生殖也有着极为密切的关系。肝主疏泄,使精气得以疏泄,肝藏血,调节血量。根据"精血同源"理论,肝血充足,则生殖之精得以转化;肝主疏泄,调畅气机,调和气血,协调冲任,故男精壮,女经调;肝经绕阴器,对生殖有直接的联系,故而有"肝司生殖"之说。

Liver channel surrounds the genitals, which directly contacts with reproduction. Therefore, there is the theory of liver governs reproduction.
