Synthesis and Characterization of CeO_2/SiO_2 Composite Particles

摘要 以SiO_2溶胶作内核,分别以(NH_4)_2Ce(NO_3)_6、CO(NH_2)_2混合溶液与Ce(NO_3)_3·6H_2O、HMT混合溶液作壳层前驱体,均相沉淀工艺制备了两种不同的CeO_2/SiO_2复合磨粒。利用XRD、TEM和FT-IR对比了两种磨粒的物相组成、纳米形貌和化学结构,并对包覆机理进行了解释;结果表明:以(NH_4)_2Ce(NO_3)_6、CO(NH_2)_2为原料制备的CeO_2/SiO_2复合磨粒包覆程度低;以Ce(NO_3)_3·6H_2O、HMT为原料制备的CeO_2/SiO_2复合磨粒为壳-核包覆结构完整的纳米微球,粒径约110 nm,核层为无定形SiO_2,壳层为立方萤石型CeO_2颗粒,CeO_2壳层与SiO_2内核之间存在Si-O-Ce化学键,形成了稳定的壳核结构。 CeO2/SiO2 composite particles were prepared through homogeneous precipitation method using commercial silica polishing slurry as silicon resource, ammonium ceric nitrate, urea aqueous mixtures and Cerium nitrate, HMT aqueous mixtures as coating precursor respectively. The as-prepared particles'Phase composition, nanotopography and chemical structure were Characterized by X-Ray Diffraction, Transmission electron microscope and Fourier infrared spectrum and coating mechanism were studied. The results indicated that the composite particles using Cerium nitrate, HMT as raw material were nano- microspheres composed by amorphous silica core and cubic fluorite ceria shell, possessing complete core- shell Structure and particle size of about 110 nm. ceria shell grew on the surface of silica core by the formation of Ce-O-Si chemical bonds, forming stable core-shell structure.
