Agriculture Education of Northwest Agriculture College

基于历史文献分析与考证,研究抗战时期国立西北农学院的农学教育,结果表明西北农学院形成了农艺学、林学、园艺学、植物病虫害学、农业经济学、牧草科、农业化学、农田水利、农业机械、农产制造以及畜牧、兽医科等系统全面的农学体系,构建了以辛树帜、沈学年、殷良弼等为代表的强大师资队伍。他们不仅为西北地区培养了一大批高级农业人才,而且传播先进的农学科学,培育优良品种,积极开展科学研究,推广农业科技成果,极大地促进了西北地区的农业生产与科技水平的提升。

Based on the analysis and research of literature, a study was made of the agricultural ed- ucation of Northwestern agriculture College in the period of Anti Japanese War. The results show that Northwest Agriculture College formed comprehensive agricultural system of forestry, agronomy, horti- culture, plant diseases and insect pests, agricultural economics, forage, agricultural chemistry, irrigation and water conservancy, agricultural machinery, agricultural production and animal husbandry, animal Medical Science and so on. The representatives of Xin Shuzhi, Shen Xuenian, Yin Liangbi were among the outstanding talents at that time. They not only cultivated a large number of talents with advanced ag- riculture, but also spread the advanced agricultural science, cultivated good varieties, actively carried out scientific research, promoted their achievements, laid a basic pattern of higher agricultural educa- tion for the northwest area, which greatly promoted the agricultural production and scientific and tech- nological level in the northwest region of China.
