Application of Competence-based Concept on English Teaching at Vocational Colleges

目前,能力本位教育在我国高职英语教学中受到了广泛关注。据此,以旅游专业为例,具体分析了我国高职旅游专业英语教学现状,并提出了坚持理论与实践相结合;夯实语言基础,加快英语教学内容的改革;创新教学模式,提高学生学习的积极性;建立健全课程考核评价体系;加强工学结合与校企合作等解决其教学问题的措施。

Right now, competence-based education has been paid wide attention by public. Taking major in tourism as an example, the paper concretely analyzes the current situation of China＇s vocational education. Therefore, it raises some recommendations such as combining theory with practice, laying foundation of language, and innovating teaching model and creating comprehensive evaluation methods. The purpose is to further enhance the combination of learning and working and promotes the cooperation of enterprises and colleges.
