理性是人所特有的内在精神气质,人与动物的区别在于人有理性,能在理性的指导下使用工具。理性是人们认识和改造世界的强有力武器。虽然对理性的阐释有多元化的角度,西方诸多哲学家对理性做出了不同的界定,但是理性的本质规定性是确定的。理性的本质规定性决定其在世界观、人生观、价值观教育中能发挥重要影响力。

Rationality is the internal coherent spiritual temperament of people. The difference between humanand animals is that the former is able to think rationally and use tools under the guide of rationality. It is also apowerful weapon for us to understand and rebuild the world. Despite the diversified points of view of interpretationof rationality, many western philosophers that defined rationality in different ways found the essence of rationalitywas definite. The essential stipulation of nationality means that it plays a critical role in education of the worldoutlook, outlook on life and value outlook.
