任务投入量假说视角下的英汉少儿图解词典对比分析——以词汇任务为例

摘要 少儿图解词典除了可以查检词汇的发音、拼写和意义之外,一般都具有较强的可读性和互动性,旨在创造一个符合少儿认知特点的词汇学习语境。在任务投入量假说的理论框架下,通过定量分析,对比英语和汉语儿童图解词典的词汇任务的差别。研究发现英语作为二语的少儿图解词典更注重词汇任务和词条的关联性,并且注重任务的投入量分配,更符合少儿认知习惯和习得规律。 Second language children dictionaries do not function as a consultant tool of the spelling and meaning, but as learning material setting up the learning situation. Children's dictionaries should be readable for the attractive word demonstration, attached pictures and relevant tasks to enhance word learning. This paper investigates the value of learning enhancing effect of the tasks in 7 Chinese and English children's dictionaries based on the Involvement Load Hypothesis. The results show that English children dictionaries, compared with Chinese children dictionaries, relate the tasks to the target words more closely, try to make the tasks more interesting to children and allocate task involvement load more reasonably, which suit children's cognitive characteristics better.
