With the purpose of expounding concisely and fully the history, and features of Native American young adult fiction, this essay on the one hand, from the synchronic anglej illustrates its development from scratch to the current status, from being marginalized to being noticed by mainstream readers; and on the other hand, it aims to discover its prominent features and significance in different periods from a diachronic perspective.
