《诗经》中的黄鸟向有二说,或以为是黄雀,或以为是黄鹂。然而《秦风·黄鸟》的黄鸟并非是这两种鸟类,而是黄色鸱鸮。黄鸟本来是象征国家之亡与君王之死,也标志着新的国家与君王的诞生。由此来看《诗经》的黄鸟并非是动物学的概念,而只是指黄色的鸟。《诗经》其他诸篇中的黄鸟或是黄雀、或是黄鹂,并不是指同一种鸟类。

There are two versions of the yellow bird in Book of Songs,one is considered to be the vertin,and the other oriole.However,the yellow birds of the poem, 'Qin Feng',are not these two kinds of birds,but yellow owl.Yellow bird is a symbol of death of the country and the king,and it also marks the birth of a new country and the king.In view of this,the yellow bird in Book of Songs is not the concept of animal science,but only refers to the yellow feather birds.In Book of Songs and other articles,the yellow birds or vertins,or orioles,not referring to the same species of birds.
