国际航运业的发展和语言服务业的兴起,对海事翻译工作者的能力和素质提出了挑战。针对海事翻译行业的现状,职业译员培训必须在翻译项目管理、翻译信息技术、海事专业素质等方面进行变革,才能提高翻译服务质量,适应新形势下的语言服务市场的需求。
The development of the international mitime transportation and the rise of language service industry give the maritime translators a great challenge to improve their expertise.This paper discusses the current situation of maritime translation industry and proposes a reform in terms of project management,translation information and technology,and the field of maritime specialization to improve the quality of translation service and meet the demand of language service market in the new environment.
