Heat shock protein 60（HSP60）belongs to the family of heat shock proteins and it is a kind of stress proteins which is highly conserved and widely expressed in response to stresses.In addition to its role as a heat shock protein,it has various biologic functions,such as helping other proteins for folding and transport.The latest researches have shown that HSP60 played an important role in the immunization.This paper describes the discovery,structure and the functions of HSP60,especially focusing on its function in the immunization,which will provide a theoretical foundation for the research on HSP60 functions.
