Given his contributions to the 1911 Xinhai Revolution and in the fields of economy,education,literature and journalism,Chen Shaobai deserved the titles of revolutionary,industrialist,educator,writer and pioneer in journalism. Chen Shaobai excelled at breaking new ground; he was an innovative leader and a pre- seeing bourgeois democratic revolutionary.
