In this article,a case involving slaughtering cattle died of disease that was investigated by Yongsheng county animal health supervision institution was introduced. In order to provide reference for enhancing capacity of animal health supervision and law enforcement,the method in the process of investigation,together with its procedure,investigation situation and the application of law were analyzed,and some experiences and views on how to carry out animal health supervision work according to law were put forward.
