亮出小镇“特色美”

TO PRESENT THE "CHARACTERISTIC BEAUTY" OF THE TOWN

＂山色湖光步步随,古今难画亦难诗。＂古代诗人如此描述小镇美景。亦清新亦古朴,亦澄清亦厚重,也许在很多人的印象中,小镇是闲适安逸得犹如小家碧玉。而面对想逃离城市而来的人们,许多温润的小镇总会以各种方式来激活缄默的性情、沉淀的文化和深藏的本真,来表达自己存在的意义和价值,用自己大气十足的胸怀向外部开放着。

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the list of First Chinese Characteristic Towns on October 14 th.7 towns from Shandong were included and won the fame due to their own 'characteristic beauty' :Qingdao,Weihai,Yantai,Weifang,Taian and Zibo.Zhang Xueqin,Director of Division of Village and Town in the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development,claimed that it was the 'industry form of unique characteristics' that should be taken as the leading role among all the factors in the cultivation of characteristic towns.Charaaeristics and advantages of small city towns shall be stressed to promote the towns in creating quality,reaching the specification and developing the strength.Characteristic towns from Shandong have for sure shown their talents.A series of towns of unique characteristics,including 'Airport Town', 'China Romantic Town', 'Wine Characteristic Town', 'Wool Town' and 'Seasoning Town',have all found their developmental way with their local characteristics based on their own advantages,which is just the core factor advocated in the 'characteristic town' policy.In comparison with other provinces,characteristic towns in Shandong are different due to their greater stress on the real economy and sustainable development.Every characteristic town in Shandong has an industry approaching maturity as its support.In the future,the construction of characteristic towns,as the motivating force of new urbanization,will generate new energy to the urban-rural sustainable and healthy development in Shandong Province.
