时间：2010年3月18日地点：北京古芳苑吴冠中寓所吴冠中（1919-2010）,江苏宜兴人,当代著名画家、油画家、美术教育家。桑火尧,1963年生。中国艺术研究院艺委会委员、中国画院副院长、国家一级美术师,中国美术学院国画系毕业,硕士学位,中国美术家协会会员,境象绘画的创导者。主要观点不就别人的范儿唯一的乐趣是创新不能干人一面古人样思想远比笔墨技巧更重要只要理念与形式需要,可以不择手段水墨画发展要从整个世界环境中看艺术创作要表达真情实感发现比培养更重要提倡一种有意味的形式从具象到抽象的突围,需要有天份的人才桑火尧（以下简称桑）：我们谈中国水墨画,杭州无疑是一个非常重要的地方宋室南迁,杭州成为一个重要的水墨画重镇,影响大江南北我长期生活在杭州这决有艺术气质的地方,受益很多。

It is very important an artist has potentials and aptitude.If you has potentials and aptitude,with some training,you can establish yourself as an artist.Only when an artist has the potentials and aptitude,his work can interest his viewer.An advance from producing concrete artworks to abstract requires aptitude,for it is much harder for an artist to produce abstract works than concrete works.There are plenty of men who can paint,but few of them can be called artist.What we need is art,not skill.Furthermore,an art should withdraw into himself to read more,to improve himself,to learn how to think,to become an artist who has his own idea about art.When he has widened his view of art,his art creation idea and form can come in abundance.
